The Rocky Mountain Vidxpo show in Denver held on the 21st and 22nd of October, drew a steady stream both days of producers, videographers, consultants and more.  With an exhibitor hall of 75 top manufacturers there were plenty of quality products for everyone to get educated on or try out. Marketec was proud to partner with DNF Controls, Fast Forward Video for broadcast quality digital recording , Tripplite Power and Visionary Solutions for IPTV solutions as well as Marketec’s own NLE furniture line.

Attendees were greeted the first day with a beautiful blanket of snow, but plenty of complimentary coffee and drinks were provided. Industry classes were held all day with keynote speakers, a social happy hour and a women’s production luncheon. The show overall was hit. Marketec looks forward to supporting our partners in the Rocky Mountain area with our participation again next year.

According to the New York Times: “The Economic Stimulus Act of 2008 allows businesses to take an immediate write-off of up to $250,000 for equipment purchased this year, double the amount allowed in 2007. Businesses that place the assets in service this year are entitled to an additional 50 percent depreciation.”
